The ski slopes and ski lifts are not just part of the Hotel Riedlberg, they are also right at the doorstep. This system will be put into operation 4x weekly even in the evening from 19.00 to 22.00 o'clock.

For children, the easy and well-prepared practice slope, as well as the baby lift is a true paradise. For advanced skiers there is another ski lift with more demanding downhill possibilities and fantastic panoramic views.
Your added value at the Riedlberg
As long as the ski lift is in operation, from the 2015/2016 season on, house guests have been able to use the hotel's ski lift all day for free.
The Hotel Riedlberg has no influence on the opening hours of the Riedlberg ski lift and cannot give any discounts if the ski lift is stationary.

Our Riedlberg ski lift has been completely renewed and brought to the latest technical standards. The valley station has been moved to give the newly developed forest run a favourable line layout.
Lift 1 – valley station 720 m, mountain station 850 m above sea level. NN, drag length 600 m, 2 runs with 600 m and 700 m length. Floodlighting
Delivery capacity 1100 people / hour
.Lift 2 – valley station 715 m, mountain station 730 m above sea level. NN,
drag length 120 m, ideal practice slope. Delivery capacity 500 people / hour
Excellently groomed slopes; LL trails are also available directly from the house. Refreshments are also served in our restaurant at the valley station.
New: For clubs, companies, groups of at least 25 people, we provide floodlighting outside the regular floodlighting time.
Sleigh - fun for young and old at the Riedlberg ski lift
The toboggan run at the Riedlberg ski lift is greatly popularity. Through the lift transport and the successful toboggan run, which snakes down to the valley just under 1000m from the mountain station of the Riedlberg ski lift. The sled fun is enhanced by the best snow quality and daily preparation. An absolute advantage of this toboggan run is that you can pick up the sled directly at the valley station of the ski lift. This means that you do not need to bring your toboggan and have your hands free to may be warm up in the snow bar. The transport with our ski lift can only be made with original sledges from the Riedlberg ski lift, as these are provided with TÜV - relevant safety precautions.

In order to be able to offer you unadulterated skiing pleasure during your winter holiday, the ski resort at the Grosser Arber in Riedlberg has been equipped with the most modern snow-making equipment.
This means planning security for your winter holiday in the Bavarian Forest.
The two downhills at the drag lift as well as the practice slope can be snowed completely in 4 to 5 days and transformed into a World Cup - suitable downhill run
Après Ski Snow Bar Bavarian Forest
The optimal location of our snow bar will give you a complete overview of our practice slope. So you can pursue the first attempt of your love on two skis with, for example, a cup of cappuccino or a glass of mulled wine. For skiers, our Apre's Ski Bar is very popular as it is a great place to warm up and refresh yourself.
During the floodlit times, the snow bar is open from 19:30 to ??:??. Once a week the snow bar storms as our DJ plays the latest Apre's ski hits and popular hits.

Fairytale world in a winter dress, the winter with us is something very special. The crystal-clear air, the glittering snow and the snow-covered landscapes leave an enchanting impression.
The regular guided torch hikes are always a joyous event for young and old. After which you can go and warm up at the snow bar with a house schnapps and hot mulled wine.
For cross-country skiers, a beautiful area with well-groomed trails opens up. A popular change is a sleigh ride through the sweet nature.
